When can I buy them?
The first drop is 100 pairs. I'll email the waitlist with the launch date before anything goes on sale.
How much are they?
I'll share the price with the waitlist at launch.
The shorts
What are they made from?
The shell is 100% organic cotton waffle knit. The liner is 92% Tencel lyocell and 8% spandex. There is no spandex around the pouch.
Is there any metal?
No zips, rivets or metal eyelets. Metal gets hot in a sauna and I'd rather it wasn't anywhere near skin.
Is the pack against my skin?
No. There is always fabric between the pack and your skin. Take the pack out if you ever feel uncomfortable.
What is the pack made of?
A BPA free, non toxic gel pack. You freeze it before use. There's no phase change material in the first run.
How cold does the pack stay, and for how long?
I haven't tested the pack in a sauna with thermometers yet, so I won't give a number. When I've measured it properly, it goes on the Shorts page.
Are the fabrics certified?
I'm not publishing certificate numbers yet. I will once my bulk order is made, and they'll go on the Materials page.
Care and safety
How do I wash them?
Machine wash cold, no bleach, lay flat to dry.
Is this a medical product?
No. Amuro is clothing. It isn't a medical device and it doesn't diagnose, treat or prevent anything.
